# How to make it:

05 - Taste and adjust sweetness if desired by adding more agave syrup.
06 - Serve immediately in glasses garnished with extra mint and lime slices.

# Expert advice:

01 -
  • It tastes like a fancy cocktail without requiring any skill or spirits, which means even kids can feel included in the celebration.
  • The whole thing comes together in ten minutes, so you can focus on actually enjoying people instead of being stuck behind the bar.
02 -
  • Never muddle the mint aggressively or it turns bitter and bruised-tasting; gentle pressure releases the flavor without the harshness.
  • Adding the sparkling water at the very last second before serving keeps the whole pitcher from going flat if it sits for any length of time.
03 -
  • Prep all your fruit and mint in the morning, store them separately in the fridge, then assemble the pitcher no more than an hour before guests arrive so everything stays bright and fresh.
  • If you're serving this for a larger crowd, double or triple the recipe and add the sparkling water and ice in batches so the pitcher stays properly chilled throughout the gathering.
