# Expert advice:

01 -
  • You get a full handful of spinach without any bitter aftertaste hiding in the background.
  • It's genuinely ready in five minutes, which means no excuses on busy mornings.
  • The pineapple and banana do all the sweetening work, so you're not dumping sugar into every sip.
02 -
  • If your spinach is still too visible and the color turns you off, use frozen spinach cubes instead—they blend completely invisible and won't make the drink watery.
  • Frozen pineapple and banana actually make this smoother and colder without needing as much ice, which I discovered by accident when I forgot to thaw them.
03 -
  • Add your liquid first to help everything blend faster and prevent the pineapple from getting stuck against the blades.
  • If you're making this for someone else, taste it before serving because sweet preferences differ wildly and it only takes five seconds to adjust.
